what is the drc?

 

The West End & Visitation Park Development Review Committee (DRC) is an independent, interim structure to give residents a voice and to provide community feedback for the neighborhood development process. Currently, Cornerstone CDC provides in-kind, voluntary administrative support to resident leaders managing the full process.

The DRC is a volunteer based entity that has no legal authority over development decisions. The City of St. Louis and it’s elected/appointed representatives are solely responsible for decision making.


Who is on the drc?

The Committee is formed of current residents and community stakeholders that have a background or technical expertise in the development process, this could be architecture, construction, or development experience.

The West End & Visitation Park DRC is responsible for the following:

•Promoting quality residential and commercial development in the West End and Visitation Park neighborhoods

•Ensuring development rehabilitation and infrastructure projects in the neighborhood are in accordance with the forthcoming West End and Visitation Park Neighborhood Plan currently being led by weCollab.
